Here are some of the most frequently asked questions I get regarding myself or the blog.

Where am I from?

Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. It’s the capital of the land of opportunities, and hence rightly called as “வந்தாரை வாழ வைக்கும் தமிழகம்”. It is a Metro city, capital of Tamilnadu. The land where many spiritual personalities existed.

How did I end up in Milan?

After working for my company and traveling around the globe for more than a decade, finally relocated here with my family. The first question I am asked when I say I have relocated here is – Why Italy?

Well, it is not surprising. Most people from my place look to relocate to USA or UK or Australia. One of the main reason is the language. So, it’s quite obvious to see people raising their eyebrows when I say this.

Anyway, do I have any regrets? No. We are happily living here for past 6 years and that is the solid proof that we LOVE Italy!

How did I start traveling?

Travel was not my career but rather, my career involved more on travel. Yes, being in the semiconductor domain I had to always travel for visiting customers since India had almost nill silicon fabs. That is how my steps outside India happened.

While it was mostly the USA and Japan in the initial days, later it became more towards Europe and Asia. Since I use to travel for weeks, all the weekend was for me. For the traveler in me.

I do not plan to visit any famous tourists place or similar ones. For some reasons, I planned any place that involved some travel. later I realized that it was because I loved the journey than the destination.

Yes, I always loved to watch those trees and fields moving fast backward while I peep through those glass windows of the high-speed trains.

Am I ready to work as a travel blogger full-time?

According to me, there are two kinds of people. One who travels to blog. And others who blog the travel. I am of the second type and love to be in the same category in the future too! Which means, I need to work to earn that will help me to do not just the travel, but also to maintain my blogs!

Got it?

How do I get started as an expat in Italy?

I have been blogging my personal experience in Milan after moving in here. It will serve a good guide to the new comers, and hence have documented with as much detials as possible. Fee free to visit.
