You have been very supportive in making this blog a reality, a success and a motivation for me to continue doing the travel.
With all your support and blessings, I have decided to come up with a new monthly series on my Travel blog called “Open Your Eyes“.
What is it?
We travel to many places. No,
Those of you following my blogs may already know that I love the journey more than the destination I am traveling to. In fact, if you have closely noticed my blog tag line, it would be clear.
As my tag line says, Its the journey that matters.
In the process of planning and preparing for making a successful vacation of the dream destination, often we miss focussing on the current moment of the actual travel.
The journey could denote any mode of travel. It could be a long drive in your car, hours of wait and boarding of flights or trains, or the multi-faced bus transports.
Are you the one who keep checking the baggage and the kids every now and then during the travel?
Are you the one who peep out of the window in tension and making sure not to miss your station?
Take a deep
Are you the one who keep watching the clock and blaming the long duration of the journey?
Then this series is just for you
Why is it?
During the travels, seldom we enjoy the surroundings and its beauties. If you are a single mom or dad with kids, nothing to say. The sheer tension in managing the kids will take the pleasant happening in the surroundings.
In the process of getting everything as per plan, we tend to lose the surprise that a journey can bring in. Making sure to have everything perfect is not bad, but you should not miss the surprise elements too on your travel.
Surprises could be a pleasant one, or sometimes the other way. But remember its such a journey that will be hanging in your memory to be talked for years. You will forget the perfect beauty you saw on the trip, you will forget the tasty food you had in the restaurant.
But if there is no memories to talk about in the years to come, what’s fun in a travel, right?
Look around. Even our fellow passengers can have very interesting talks. Open your ears, listen to locals hints or praise of the place you visit.
Peep outside of those train windows, look at those fast-moving trees and buildings. It does have a story to tell you, hear it.
It could even be a giant billboard that tells a story. Or a beautiful night view of the city below you.
Many times, I have read the in-flight magazines and amazed at the wealth of information
It was one such encounter that made me think and come about this series.
Open you eyes – as it says, open your eyes to your surroundings. You never knew what’s in there. Explore the journey, till you wait for the destination. The journey not only becomes more fun, but also helps to kill the boredom.
What can you expect in this series?
You all know that I travel, both for work and pleasure. And in this series, I am going to pick up the interesting things I encountered in my journey. It could be a person, book or something I learned from that book. It could even be an experience I had in that travel.
I am sure you will be excited and waiting to read from me the first encounter!
And with all those introductions.. here I am… very happy to announce a new travel series on my Travel blog “Open Your Eyes“.
Starting from March 2019… You can find all the series in here.
